History Timeline
NKCHS has been working hard to preserve our two museums - Carpenter House and Telephone Museum - for future generations to enjoy.  Since 2009, we have successfully secured funding to completely re-roof both museums, as well as replace the front steps of the Carpenter House and repair the interior/exterior of the Telephone Museum. Currently, we are working to update the exhibit display at the Telephone Museum.  We would not have been able to complete these latest projects without the generous support from our community.

NKCHS extends a huge THANK YOU to the following for their generosity and support. We couldn't do it without you!!

Here's a look at our new TPO roof which was installed on top of the Telephone Museum in August 2011.

Here's Howard Carlin, bless his heart, spreading paint primer on the new sheetrock.  Proof that there is NOTHING STRONGER THAN THE HEART OF A VOLUNTEER!
